Jumpers & Jazz in July Potters' Craft Market & Picnic in the Park:  Sunday 25th July.

Jumpers & Jazz in July is Queensland's quirkiest yarnbombing & jazz winter festival. Warwick Qld on the Southern Downs has it all.

Jumpers and Jazz in July began in 2004 inspired by the Warwick Art Gallery's idea to personalize the cold winter streets with textile art wrapped around our bare winter trees.

The quirky “tree jumper” project captured the imagination of the local community and the event grew into the ten day arts festival that we now enjoy. Lovely traditional textile crafts such as crochet, felting, doll making and weaving have prospered as a result of being applied in a popular contemporary context. Recycled materials are also used with wonderful creativity and cleverness. Jazz performances in more than 30 venues, exhibitions, hands on workshops, wine and dining throughout the festival.

The last Sunday in July features the Potters‘ Craft Market & Picnic in Leslie Park that brings to a close this unique event with music, great food and a wide variety of arts and craft stalls
